Manufacturing process

Paper selection:

Preferentially select cardstock made from stronger wood pulp. First, perform drying and dehumidification treatment to prevent the paper from carrying moisture that could cause the cylinder to become soft and curl up later.

Printing on the plate:

Use the offset four-color printing process. Layer-print the character illustrations, small text copy, and light-colored background patterns. Color control is implemented to ensure clear lines, natural color transition on the faces of the characters, and no bordering of color blocks. After printing, let it stand and dry fully to lock the ink and prevent color bleeding and adhesion.

Roll forming:

Attach the printed surface paper and inner white paper together. Use a fully automatic roll cylinder machine to roll them into a cylinder. Control the cylinder's roundness to ensure uniform dimensions at the top and bottom, and avoid any uneven sizes.

End cutting:

Use high-speed knife molds to precisely cut both ends. The cuts should be smooth without frayed edges, ensuring that the cylinder body and cylinder cover can fit together precisely.

Cylinder cover pressing:

The cylinder cover of Art Print Tea Paper Tube is separately die-cut and rounded. It is adjusted in tightness to match the cylinder body, ensuring that it neither easily comes loose nor is too tight to open.

Final inspection:

Check for printing defects, cylinder deformation, and glue separation on each piece. Qualified products are then packed in boxes to reduce the probability of customers receiving defective items.

A: We will pre-match the tolerance between the cylinder body and the cap. Even after being opened and closed hundreds of times normally, they will still fit tightly. As long as the cap is closed properly during long-term storage, it won't easily become loose or accumulate dust.

Q2: Will the full-page large-area color printing cause the color to fade extensively?

A: The ink is selected as a food-grade wear-resistant type. After drying, it is coated with a film to solidify the color. After dry wiping, the ink won't come off. When stored in regular conditions for more than half a year, the pattern remains intact.
